All Roads Lead to Stockton- Let's celebrate Filipino American History Month together!
Returning to the Stockton community on Saturday, October 22nd, 2022, FAHM Fest is making its appearance for a 2nd annual event sponsored by Delta College! Join us from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Dolores Huerta Plaza on the Stockton campus.
If you are a community leader, educator, entrepreneur, or small business owner, FAHM Fest is a space for all to share our stories, collaborate, celebrate, and preserve our history within our community in Stockton.
FAHM Fest Stockton is dedicated to the late Dr. Dawn Bohulano Mabalon co-founder of Little Manila Rising along with the 20th year anniversary of the Historical Site Designation of Little Manila in Stockton, and in celebration of Filipino History Month.
Delta College Asian Pacific Islander American Staff Association President Dr. Cirian Villavicencio will also announce the implementation of the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Student Achievement Program that provides $16 million of ongoing state funding for California Community Colleges and California State Universities to support AANHPI-centered programs.
He will also announce that Delta College received the Asian American, Native American, Pacific Islander Serving Institution (AANAPISI) federal grant from the U.S. Department of Education, an award of $1.9 million to fund Delta programs that serve first-generation and low-income AANHPI students.
There is so much to celebrate for the month of October!
Our unique 1-day event will be filled with performances, speakers, interactive art installations, music, food, and more! The entertainment lineup features rapper and singer Ruby Ibarra and DJ Lex. This is an opportunity for the Filipino community to gather, learn, and build together!
