University of the Pacific's Jazz Studies Department invites the community to their highly anticipated fall concert. In addition to a big band performance by Pacific Jazz Ensemble, the event will feature Pacific Jazz Ambassadors, the university's flagship jazz combo.
Among pieces performed that evening by the Ambassadors, there will be two original tunes “Grand Avenue” by Gianna Pedregon and “Epilogue” by Tal Kalman.
Pacific Jazz Ambassadors are comprised of exceptionally talented and motivated jazz students pursuing a three-year Accelerated Bachelor of Music Honors Degree in Jazz Studies at the Conservatory of Music: Marwan Ghonima, bass; Samson Hulett, drum set; Tal Kalman, saxophone; Toby Keys, piano; and Gianna Pedregon, violin.

Tickets will be available at the door 30 minutes prior to the start of the concert:
Free - Pacific and community students with a valid student ID
$5 - Seniors (65 and older) Pacific faculty/staff
$10 - General admission.
If you love music this is a spectacular event for you to schedule a date night out on the town. We also suggest bringing your high school aged children who are currently part of their school's band ensembles now. This performance will encourage them to continue their craft or develop an interest in another instrument besides the one they are currently playing.
Note: as of August 2021, University of the Pacific requires all individuals on campus to wear a facial covering indoors.
