SCT JR presents.... Willy Wonka!

This musical highlights an eccentric candy maker Willy Wonka, who announces a worldwide contest: five golden tickets hidden inside chocolate bars will grant lucky winners a tour of his magical factory and a lifetime supply of sweets. The story centers on Charlie Bucket, a kind-hearted but poor boy who dreams of a better life. Alongside four other winners — each with their own quirky flaws — Charlie explores the fantastical factory, encountering chocolate rivers, nut-sorting squirrels, and the famous Oompa-Loompas. Come along for the sweet adventure.

Stockton Civic Theatre’s SCT Junior Summer Youth Program provides high-quality arts education opportunities that cultivate creativity, community, and artistic growth for students. Annually Stockton Civic Theatre offers SCT Junior Stage for young artists interested in acting, singing, and dancing and SCT Junior Crew for young artists interested in stagecraft, design, and construction of sets, props, and costumes.
