On Friday, March 22, 2024, the Center for Identity and Inclusion will hold the annual Women's Empowerment Conference starting at 9am in the DeRosa University Center at University of the Pacific.

As part of their Benerd 100 Centennial celebration, Benerd College is pleased to sponsor the keynote speaker for the event, Dr. Jennifer Eberhardt. Dr. Eberhardt is a social psychologist at Stanford University, and the author of BIASED: Uncovering the Hidden Prejudice that Shapes What We, See, Think, Do.

Dr. Eberhardt's keynote speech will be held at the Long Theatre at University of the Pacific at 3pm and is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Dr. Eberhardt has made significant contributions exposing the impact of racial imagery and judgments on actions and outcomes in various aspects of society, including the criminal justice system, neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces. We hope you will join us for this unique and thought-provoking learning experience.

There is no charge or registration required to attend the Keynote Speech, however participation in the rest of the Women's Empowerment Conference requires a paid ticket and registration.
