Here in Stockton, we're not just proud of our community because of its abundance of diverse food, business, and culture. We're also very proud of how we give back to those in need. Here's just a few organizations that benefit the less fortunate in our community.
Lincoln Center Coat & Sock Drive
Lincoln Center is holding its coat and sock drive through December 31. Collection spots include Artesian Natural Foods, Best Wishes, Flair Boutique, F&M Bank, Orangetheory Fitness, Parkwoods Cleaners, The UPS Store, Shine Cycle + Yoga + Barre, Village Barber Shop, and Wesson Hearing Aid Center. Donate and help spread warmth and joy to those in need.
Mary Graham Children's Foundation
The Mary Graham Foundation is dedicated to providing the enrichment, experiences, and scholarship support to benefit the foster youth of San Joaquin County. Committed to funding trade school and college scholarships for current and former foster youth, your help can build new paths forward filled with education, opportunity, and independence.
Bread of Life
This organization prides itself on helping families and children who are struggling with food insecurity. Bread of Life provides food to more than 40 nonprofit agencies in the San Joaquin Valley, including schools, senior centers, community groups, soup kitchens, and shelters. Volunteers are always welcome to give their time, especially during the holiday season, and help package food supplies for those in need.
St. Mary's Community Services
St. Mary's Community Services provides a safe space for Stockton's homeless community all year round. From daily provisions like hot meals, showers, and clothing to services that enhance mental and physical well-being, the resource team there ensures that every person has what is needed to make it through the day while creating a path toward permanent housing. Volunteers are always welcome to participate in delivering hot meals and other services at St. Mary's.
Leadership Stockton
Leadership Stockton inspires new generations of men and women ready to take on leadership roles within our community. Individuals from diverse backgrounds prepared to become influential in the future of our region. Each session with Leadership Stockton comes with a number of events for members to participate in as part of their growth in the community. Over the span of eleven months, the Leadership Stockton class raises funds toward a specific community project to help improve their city and give back. Click here for events happening this session.
Thanksgiving Run & Walk Against Hunger
Before you chow down on delicious turkey and stuffing, start your thankful morning by running or walking to help raise money for the Emergency Food Bank. Presented by the Aaron Judge All-Rise Foundation, this annual tradition—happening Thanksgiving morning, November 27—benefits our community and is a great way to jumpstart your appetite before your big meal.

Santa's Workshop at Children's Home of Stockton
Join the Children's Home of Stockton for their special Santa's Workshop event. Sign up and get paired with a foster or Transition Age Youth where you'll shop for personalized gifts based on their particular wish list. Gift drop off will be Monday, December 15 at 430 N. Pilgrim Street.
