Picked up a pastry here on a whim while running errands, and it turned out to be a pretty nice surprise. The texture was light and flaky, with just the right amount of sweetness so it didn't feel overwhelming. You could tell it was made fresh, and the filling had a good flavor without being too rich. The staff was friendly too, which always makes the experience better. Not the absolute best pastry I've ever had, but definitely one I'd order again. Kinda wish I had grabbed a second one for later.
Learned from the young gentleman whom assisted me, as it was my first time coming to this bakery, the company originated in Thailand (I believe is what he said) which I found awesomely interesting. They are located in Lincoln center, if you have a chance to stop by may I suggest the strawberry cream cake they have in the refrigerated section of the bakery. it was delish for sure a winner with my family and myself. Going to get the larger version a for an upcoming birthday cake. well worth the price too
85 Degree Bakery Cafe is my family's weekend morning splurge! We enjoyed going to different 85C Bakery locations before finally getting one in Stockton, so definitely familiar with their menu. Great pricing to allow for each person to select a pastry of their liking. Our go-tos include the Matcha-chocolate Bun, Mochi Egg Tart Custard, and of course, the cake slices! Husband grabbed me an ube round cake for my last birthday, and the mango is on the menu for next year! Aside from the sweet treats, the savory items, such as the grab-and-go Pesto Chicken Sandwhich make for a quick lunch bite as well. Fantastic drink selections - we've had the teas, blended fruit drinks, and coffee. My one bit that I would be mindful of is in our experience, it DOES MATTER who is making the drinks. Sometimes my Caramel Coffee Smoothie will be just the right sweetness with strong coffee coming through, while other times, it will be more milky/less coffee flavor. Nonetheless, not enough to stop us from ordering!
Heard about it from some friends. Finally tried it February 1st 2026. Super exciting stuff and atmosphere is great. Staff are amazing. This was the 2nd trip on 2/5/26. Planning to hangout here often.
