Overview
Serving their "Almost World Famous Hamburgers," Bob's is a must-visit in Stockton just off the Delta that serves both breakfast and lunch. The breakfast menu includes blueberry hot cakes, breakfast sandwiches, omelettes, and much more, while the lunch menu offers their mouth-watering "giant" hamburgers as well sandwiches and chili dogs and fries. With a small diner feel and counter seats, this place is a great place to grab a bite to eat.

We’ve been here a few times and it never disappoint. We wanted to try something different and we love the food that we had. Also the service and location is great. If you eat here, I recommend eating outdoor if weather is nice. 👍
I have been here twice. Once on a Sunday with my wife and the other on my own on the week day. Cordial greeting at the counter. Delivery of the food was great and at the table from the attendants. The last guy from made it his task to make sure I had everything. He was in new with Bobs but he made you feel appreciated. "Thank you for stopping by to see us" with his southern drawl. I will remember that as I have been in customer service my whole life. Coming back.
This was a nice lunch stop our drive up to Tahoe. You order at the counter inside. The bar area is kind of dark. We sat outside with a nice view of the marina. I enjoyed my Triple Decker club sandwich, my wife’s patty melt was ok, but she felt the cheese and onions weren’t quite hitting the flavor/texture she expected. The food and drink prices are quite reasonable.
The worst thing about Bobs is their prices. The food is pretty good nothing too special. The onion rings are garbage. The location and environment are cool but beware it can get busy on the weekends especially in nicer weather.
I wanted to try their French Toast, but they ran out of bread, so they offered Chocolate Chip Pancakes, so I was willing to give them a try. The wait took a while for the food. They were busy. It was a giant stack, for sure. I was able to only eat half of it. It was ok. They brought it out to me without the butter & syrup. Had to ask for it and wait some more. 🤦🏻♀️ My husband usually enjoys their burger, but he tried the Chicken Fried Steak this time. We always enjoy being near the ocean or river.
