Bokisch Vineyards offers guests beautiful views of the vineyard, a pet friendly setting & vineyards tours. The tasting room guests can observe the winery’s tank room through a large window while they enjoy the finished wines.
The tasting room grounds overlook Terra Alta Vineyard: 80 acres of rolling hills planted with Garnacha, Graciano, Albariño, Viognier, Syrah, Merlot, and Chardonnay grapes in the volcanic clay loam soil of the Clements Hills, Lodi AVA.
Tasting fee: $10 for 5 tastes per person but is waived with the purchase of a bottle of wine. We usually have about 7 of our Spanish varietal and Tizona wines open at any given time.
Terrific experience at the Bokisch Vineyards tasting room. Wonderful staff, wine, olive oil and view. Recommend you visit this establishment. Great for groups big and small. Has additional overflow parking if the lot up front is full.
If you have not tasted their Spanish varietals, please head on out to their tasting room and do so. We met Marcus and Liz Bokisch about a decade ago and have been enjoying their wines ever since. They are delicious. The tasting room is a 25 minute drive from Elk Grove. My Husband and I vary in wine preferences and they have several options for each of us which is great. Their wine club parties are always fun and our Family and Friends enjoy them too, some enough to become members themselves.
Gorgeous scenery, friendly customer service, and wonderful Spanish varietals.
Fabulous wines in the Lodi Appellation done with classic Spanish grapes & blends. Did a tasting & picnic on the beautiful grounds -- our own stuff -- & we, & 17 friends loved all of it. Well recommended!
Off the beaten path with fun Spanish varietals and modern tasting room (view of wine making facilities and lab). Tastes Albariño, garnacha blanc, Verdejo, Graciano, monastrell (Mourvèdre), Tempranillo. Wines under $30 but high quality!
$30'ish bottles of wine were good. Had the tempernillo and malbec The grass lounge area is really beautiful during sunset looking over the massive vineyard with large oak trees scattered about. One of the best sunset spots around. 5 stars when you go around sunset (which was when I was there) otherwise it's 4 stars. You can bring (and they encourage) food and set up a picnic on the grass or utilize the tables and shade umbrellas they have set up as well
