Located in Stockton's historic Miracle Mile shopping district, Gian's Deli celebrates the traditions of Northern Italy. From the San Joaquin Valley and beyond, customers have come to know Gian’s Deli as their neighborhood deli for the past 40 years. From the aisles packed with imported Italian pastas, olive oils, and specialty Italian groceries, to the kitchen that exudes fresh scents of homemade foccacia and sausage, Gian’s Deli has preserved the heritage of “Old Italy.”
At Gian’s Deli you’ll find Italian cold cuts, imported cheeses, deli sandwiches on homemade foccacia and so much more! If there’s one thing Gian’s Deli is famously known for, it’s their amazing homemade raviolis and gravy. People from all over the county make special trips to pick up the raviolis for the holidays. Served hot on Mondays and Fridays and available in the freezer section, Gian’s raviolis are not to be missed! Gian’s Deli is also available to fulfill your catering needs.

Delicious cuts of meat that are sliced right in front of you immediately after you order your sandwich! I would love to come here for a lunch sandwich any day. Have cash ready!
Gian's Deli is a solid place to go for sandwiches. They're quick and tasty. I'm also a huge fan of their service and "vibe". The guys behind the counter are friendly and made me feel real comfortable. The only thing I'm not a fan of is it being cash only and the raviolis I tried.
Gian’s Deli is a solid local spot in Stockton. We came in for sandwiches—decent overall, but nothing mind-blowing. The house-made focaccia is a nice touch, but it didn’t stand out the way I expected. I grew up in Brooklyn around Italian American delis, so maybe my bar is just a bit higher. Sandwiches were on the smaller side for the price, and the flavor was good but not particularly memorable. That said, the vibe is friendly, the location is convenient, and I actually appreciate that it’s cash only. That’s not a downside in my book. I’d definitely come back to try the homemade pasta or switch up the sandwich order—there’s probably more to explore on the menu that might hit better. A decent deli, especially by Stockton standards.
I'm visiting from Texas and was looking for a quick bite—I'm so glad I found this gem! I ordered the #10 on French bread with extra mayo, paired it with regular Lay’s and a Calypso drink, and it totally hit the spot. If you're looking for a sandwich that stands out from the rest, I highly recommend this place. Heads up: They only accept cash! There’s an ATM on-site, but it charges a $3.49 fee for withdrawals. Hit that follow button for more finds! 🥖😎
