I’ve been coming here for a long time. It has changed owners over the years but this is a lovely cafe. They have great coffee and ambience. I love to work here while enjoying a delicious healthy lunch. The staff is always friendly, they go above and beyond!
Have loved House of Shaw forever and ever... One of the only things I miss about leaving Stockton to move to North Carolina but when I do visit I make sure to stop by and even the new place is fantastic so glad that there are new owners to keep the traditions going 💗 if I still live there I'd probably would be in there almost every day. The iced mocha one of my faves... The lentil soup always has been amazing and comforting..... My very favorite sandwich is the veggie on a croissant with garlic mayo and Dijon mustard.
A nice little spot to relax and enjoy a coffee, and other drinks, sandwiches and baked goods. Very nice location right off Pacific Avenue on the Miracle Mile. Comfortable outdoor patio area as well as the indoor dining room. Or, order takeout to enjoy st home. 🙂
What a delightful spot this is! Great atmosphere, incredibly delicious food, and a friendly, professional crew that does all they can to ensure your dining experience is top-notch. Plus, their baked goods are amazing, and the variety is excellent. They always seem to have seasonal items to entice the taste buds along with the all-time favorites we keep going back for when something sweet starts calling our names. Sweet or savory, House of Shaw has got what you're looking for in casual, bistro style dining. Definitely try it!
Great experience, went with the dirty chai and it was decent enough. I really like the atmosphere, and refresher was amazing. I wouldn’t recommend the quiche tho! The lentil soup is definitely the way to go! (And you can’t go wrong with a bagel or fresh fruit)
