Great family owned Stockton business! Such great food and great service. Judith and manny are the best and patty is a quick waitress. Overall great experience!
The chips and salsa were excellent as were the refried beans. I don't have any positive comments about the entree items which I had three. the Margaritas were fabulous!
My first time there. Awesome menu. Fish tacos with pan fried tilapia & their special sauce...very tasty. Generous serving of guacamole for appetizer.
We were the first guests for lunch (May 31, 2024). The restaurant is in good condition with the dining room tables all hard wood and chairs. The server was fast and friendly. The food was okay, nothing special. My order of chili relleno was bland. The presentation was colorless and uninspired. I also found it odd that the decor was semi fine dining, the silver was wrapped in a cloth napkin but the sodas were in a plastic cup.
First time here. We stopped for an early dinner while in Stockton. Well decorated inside. My wife had a mango margarita. She really enjoyed it. It looks like there is a regeneration of Pacific Ave with a lot of new stores, shops, and restaurants. La Palma is nice looking on the outside. That's what caught our eye. You walk in the front door and are greeted by the bartender and a well stocked bar. There were several people at the bar enjoying their cocktails and conversation. The restrooms are single use and large, and they are very much ADA compliant. Parking behind the restaurant is small, but since we were early, there were only a couple of cars. It was a nice experience, and we look forward to trying more of the eateries on Pacific Ave.
