This is — by far — the BEST Asparagus Festival I have ever attended. Kudos! A veritable Woodstock of festivals, right here in California’s Central Valley, this year’s Asparagus Festival was a tremendous success, in my book. A triumph of logistics! I mean… Almost immediately after walking through the Fairgrounds entrance, I was struck by the great vibe, the happy faces, the live music, the incredible variety of vendor booths along the colorful & secure walkways dishing out great eats (and not just asparagus); along with an impressive array of booths serving up a variety of goods for sale — clothes, candles, jewelry — to name just a few… along with an impressive variety of entertainment options. This annual 3-day event (originally dubbed the Stockton Asparagus Festival when it made its debut in 1986) has been a Valley favorite for years, even though the location has changed multiple times. But I think the Festival has finally found its permanent home — at long last — at the County Fairgrounds in Stockton, CA. To sum it up: The 2025 San Joaquin Asparagus Festival was a masterful feat of logistics, managing multiple logistical challenges (security, crowd control, parking, etc.) with ease. Thanks to event pro Tony Noceti & his incredible crew, San Joaquin County keeps getting better!! Bravo!! 👏🏼
Asparagus Festival 2025: Plenty of things to do. Rides, food, vendors. I personally would require vendors to have at least one item that was on theme, just to make for a more interesting experience. Very few had anything to do with asparagus. The restrooms were not well maintained. They were out of soap or paper towels. System was good for moving people around. I do think they could have had more shaded seating. Lots of open areas and areas without proper seating. Not bad, but could be better.
It’s a flea market you can find any used things you need in this flea market the best place to buy really used things
Yesterday, my family and I went to San Joaquin County Fairgrounds for the Second Annual Seafood & Soul Event by BlacktoBusibess209!!! The event is ONLY $1 to get in and out was well worth it!!! There was so much great food available, with other Vendors as well!!! Harmony Waist Beads, A.D. & Me Photos, as well as a host of other's, just to name a few!!! There was great music, face painting, and four different bounce houses for the children!!! We really enjoyed ourselves!!!
Just attended the Seafood Festival at the Stockton fairgrounds. Photos are of food not fairgrounds. I brought home a Philly cheesesteak with shrimp, gumbo and seafood macaroni and cheese. Parking lot is dusty with small rocks so you have to drive fairly slow. Weather was too hot for me and not enough shaded areas. I left after about an hour.
