Tacos El Mayita is serving up tacos, quesadillas, burritos, tortas, mulitas and more! This taco truck is a local favorite and is always busy. One of the best taco trucks in town, the line fills the parking lot waiting to order or for their order to be ready. It's best to place your order, then head inside the store to grab some beer to go along with it, and head back over to the truck. They will call your name over a loud speaker when your order is ready.
This authentic Mexican food truck is full of flavor. The super burritos are packed with meat and are huge. Make sure to try their el pastor tacos, and get a few, they are delicious! This is no hidden gem, everyone knows how good it is, so be prepared to wait a little bit for your food. However, it is worth it!
Cash only! Right off the freeway. There is no designated parking for the food truck so you have to get lucky. Prices are more than what's posted by a dollar or 2. We usually receive good service except once from an older cashier lady. Other customers make the visit cool. We only ever get burrito supers and they're usually good and consistent. This last visit they weren't as friendly with giving sauces and sides. One of the sauce container was less than half filled. You have to be specific in what you ask for in which sauce and quantity you would like bc they will give you only what you ask for (i asked for some sauces and was only given green sauces).
I’ve had plenty of great tacos & burritos from this truck. Red sauce is great also if you love hot. I also enjoy the Hammer Lane location and get shrimp tacos for the road.
I love the food here. It is cash only, but the gas station has an ATM, so all is well. I recommend the tortas and quesabirria best. I usually ask for extra lime wedges and make sure to take my own napkins because it's so good and I'm a bit of a messy eater. Two people can share the medium horchata. It's yummy and huge. I have to try more, but I know I love what I get so it's so hard to pass up. They speak English and Spanish. Very kind, don't be afraid to ask questions at the window.
Carne asada fries! Has a nice spicy kick to it! Probably not their fault but it needs more parking spots. Quite the wait when it's busy, expect to be there for at least 20 minutes.
Awesome taco truck. Right off the I-5 freeway on March Ln. in the 76 gas station parking lot. Large selection of meats to choose from, my favorites are tripas and al pastor.
Go to taco truck in stockton. Really good tacos. 10/10 Edit: Left a 5 star review, owner replied with "k". Im dropping the review to 3 stars.
I only came for the birria tacos 🌮 at the birrialandia food truck. They are are by far the best I’ve had in town. Very delish!!
My first time....a total coincidence, we needed gas...we were hungry, there it was across from the gas station...we took a chance ( when its your 1st time, you never know what the taste will be like). I ordered a chicken burrito ( no beans)..thought it would be more filler with rice (the right combo of everything)I bit into that burrito, it was a little taste of heaven for me..the onions, rice...chicken..it was awesome...whatever the recipe..DON'T CHANGE IT!!! Try it, I don't think you will be dissappointed.
Came over for a taste since my teenager and my 21 year old daughter come here so much and I realize wow these tacos are hearty come here hungry because you’ll get a pretty big helping your tacos you decorate yourself lots of toppings to choose from ! They also have free bean soup which comes in handy on a very cold day. Good music and a chill atmosphere, inside anyway. I’m referring to the 2518 East Fremont Street location . March lane has a taco truck . I recommend this place to everyone I know and meet . Love that rib they put along with the tacos . No extra charge as know any way . Thank you 🙏🏽
This is one of the best taco food trucks I have ordered from. Stopped here on our way home from Sac. You won't be disappointed! Great food!
Best pastor in the 209. They char it a little bit here which adds alot of flavor and a home made feel to it. Also the meat is chunky here so every bite SMACKS! The sauces they use are perfectly balanced. Its no wonder why these people had not one but TWO trucks in the same lot by in n out.
This place is authentic, delicious and most importantly consistent!!!!! The Al pastor is the stand out for me, but everything is good. Order mild if you can't handle spice.
Tacos and burritos are good! One of the best ones in Stockton. They always have a line, thats how you know they're good.
Alittle on the pricy side but one of the best food truck in Stockton area! Came here on work trip and local friend decided to bring me here for lunch. $10 for the all meat burrito and all meat is ALL MEAT. Wait is alittle long during lunch time so keep that in mind. It def is one of the best burrito I have ever have! I normally don’t eat burrito) lol Parking is challenging here because it’s at a gas station and the wait is long but it’s worth the wait!
Was told this was the best taco truck in Stockton from a Stockton local. El Mayita was for sure great food. I highly recommend it.
It says "tell others why you like this place"- food, really good food. It's an automobile that serves food, is there another reason? Asada burrito (not super) with extra hot sauce.
Always passed by this taco truck. Finally got a taste of it tonight.. hella people but food was amazing definitely will come here again! Food was ready pretty fast as well..
Good quality food. The tacos are really good. A bit pricey for a taco truck.
Anytime we passed there's always a line so we decided to try it. I had a quesadilla with just chicken and cheese my husband had a burrito. They gave me three huge delicious quesadillas filled with deliciously seasoned chicken and my husband really liked his vegetarian burrito. Will be visiting again soon. We felt it was very reasonably priced for all the food we received
Good food but overpriced for a food truck. Tacos Chapala tastes way better and are more affordable and are an actual restaurant. These guys seem to have gotten obnoxious and big headed. Update: look at owners reply. They don't address anything. They just shrug their shoulders and reply "k" as to say so what ! who cares
Great food for fantastic price. I always have too much to eat at one sitting.
Food was pretty good. The service was decent. Other than that......its up to you.
Super Burritos were so good. They were big. The shrimp burrito was just as big. Salsa is hot lol even the green. But it was bomb!! Wasn't a lot of people on this day but this is a popular spot.
Very good quesadillas. I would give 5 stars but the night crew is so much better than the day crew. I definitely notice the difference in my quesadilla depending what shift made it.
best yet no lie for the truck on March lane......but the one on hammer lane will give you a lot fat and grisle in your food my rice was very dry and hard inside my burrito and burrito bowl very disappointed.
Our go to burrito place in town. They’ve added another truck, Birrialandia. Same owner but more offerings! Fries, ramen, pizza in addition to tacos and burritos! Perfect spot to grab a quick meal. Don’t forget to ask for the El Mayita Sauce!
Best tacos I’ve had so far! I’m from Sacramento and I can say I’ll be visiting Stockton more often now! Ratings:🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Meat: great fire grilled taste 🔥(al pastor&asada in photo) Salsa: spicy and authentic taste Horchata: the cherry 🍒 on top of all! Plate: very presentable for a taco truck, garnished with grilled onions, cucumber and radish. (I took my bfs jalapeño 🤫) Take my money! 💰
This place is really delicious.. I heard it usually a really long wait. But it wasn't. I will be going back here. This truck was highly recommended to me. I see why. Very good.
So I've had the al pastor burrito here and it is always good. I recently had the al pastor, carnitas, asada, and tripas tacos. I wouldn't recommend the carnitas tacos, it was way too dry and had little to no flavor. They advertise a picture of an al pastor trompo, but they don't actually have one on site. You can tell the al pastor meat isn't cut from a trompo. With that being said, I still think the food is good. Ask for the tripas crispy because it's a better texture in your mouth compared to a chewy texture. The employees are always quick and polite.
Excellent pork tacos! Love the lil pineapple included. My absolute fave. And the shrimp tacos are great too. I've also had the burritos and they are stuffed with goodies. Be prepared for a line during lunch and dinner hours. But they are fast, clean and efficient. I've tried several taco trucks, but I think this is the ONE!
Best burritos and Tacos my favorite. I love their food. Best i have tasted. Love the Al pastor. Carne asada. If you haven't been here give it a try. Awesome
It's a delicious food heaven. If you dont eat non-halal meat no problems, try their shrimp burrito. Shrimp burrito is number 1 in their menu. Speedy service and good customer service.
Delicious burritos. Location is great. You can get drinks at the 76 right next to it if you want a beer with your burrito. People in the truck are chill. Never had a bad experience at this taco truck
