I had the best turkey avocado croissant here! It's a basic unassuming cafe that seems to be a local hangout. The service was good but a bit slow. Staff wasn't particularly friendly and there was no welcoming smile offered by the waitress. It was rather odd. I would definitely get another turkey avocado croissant but I don't know if I would dine in or takeout. Just didn't feel welcome or made comfortable by the staff. But whomever was responsible for the croissant gets 5 stars and my heartfelt thanks!
The waffle was good but the omelette was sloppy and not much cheese. The omelettes were better in the past. I hadn’t been there in a while and prices were way up. Service wasn’t terrible or great just okay. I don’t plan on going back. I recently visited Huckleberry’s and had a much better experience and meal.
I've been coming here for years and have always had positive experiences. The place is usually packed during peak hours, but the staff still manages to treat us and everyone else like family. The food is consistently great, and the service is warm and welcoming. Definitely a staple in the area!
I ordered the Ortega omelette with the house potatoes. The hot potatoes were on hit! And the Ortega omelette was delicious and huge! I highly recommend this place. And the staff is very friendly.
My friend and I drive 140 miles to Stockton at least once a month to eat at the Omelet House. I have not had a bad meal. The Omelets are huge and with a side of pancakes you'll never finish. The Double Chicken Fried Steak is another stuff your belly item. The atmosphere is dated and the counters are taken up mostly of boxes of Napkins, silverware and other restock items. But don't let that stop you.
