We had a good stay overall. The room was very clean, quiet, and well maintained. We upgraded to a courtyard view for an additional $25 per night, and it was absolutely worth it. We also appreciated the full-size refrigerator and microwave, free convenient parking, and the fact that we could still use the restroom and get ice after checkout. The pool and jacuzzi water seemed well maintained, and neither my husband nor I experienced any skin irritation. We also enjoyed hearing the nearby jazz concert from the hotel during our stay. The main reason I did not give 5 stars was the atmosphere around the pool and recreation areas. There were dogs roaming the property, children playing softball and kickball near lounge seating, and groups of teens occupying the whirlpool without apparent adult supervision. At times, it felt more like a community recreation area or a place for parties and sleepovers than a relaxing hotel environment. We also found it inconvenient that pool towels had to be picked up from the front desk, and used towels were left around the pool area throughout the day rather than being collected more frequently. Overall, the room, amenities, cleanliness, and parking were excellent, but improved supervision and upkeep of the recreation areas would make the experience much more enjoyable."
We had a good stay on the way back home from Sacramento. Checking in and out was a smooth prosess, room was very clean and comfortable equipped with a full-size fridge, microwave, and enough electrical outlets. Its great outdoor courtyard with a pool, hot tub,and outdoor seating. The hotel rule at the room said towels provide from the pool house but the pool house was closed when we went to the pool area at 7:30pm. We were so tired to go back to the front desk. It would be nicer if the pool house hours on the notice. Anyway this hotel was a cool spot to stay, and highly recommend.
Best place to stay in Stockton! Literally next to the Arena and Stockton Ports stadium! AND, walking distance from downtown. You’re also next to the Stockton Channel, so it’s a great area for a walk/job around the water. Also a great area for driving to amd around Stockton city. The rooms are very spacious (I even had a friedge in mine!). The TV’s could be updated, and one of my lights didn’t work, but for the price? Plus, the breakfast buffet is faily priced. This is easily a 4/4.5 hotel.
Fairly decent hotel for the price. The restaurant and bar are the stars here though. Service there is wonderful, the food and drinks are great too! Parking is available in a lot across the street, and they do have security. The room is spacious. Bed/pillow comfort is above average for most places I’ve stayed. Water pressure is good in the shower. Full size fridge was a pleasant surprise. The exterior rooms (at least the room I was in) didn’t present much of a view. My only small issues were that the fitness center doesn’t open until 8:00am. Seriously?! What about us who are early risers?! Also there was some kind sticky fluid on the ceiling of my room, like someone sprayed something up there and it hasn’t been cleaned (see last photo). Aside from those things, this was a pleasant stay.
