Located in Downtown Stockton, Xochimilco is a downtown staple serving up huge portions of delicious Mexican food. If you are a Stockton local then you know about this restaurant and love it. The Mexican food is authentic and the service is excellent. The refried beans taste just like your great grandma made them and the salsa is always nice and spicy. The flavors here are delicious!
If you work downtown this is the perfect spot to pick up a quick lunch with a coworker and still have leftovers to take home for dinner. Located right off the crosstown freeway this is also a great location for travelers to pull off the freeway for a quick bite to eat before they head out of town and it's also open late if you need a midnight snack. Come hungry!

I don't like Mexican food, but this place has a very good kitchen. And they helping poor people. I forgot to take pictures inside because I was very hungry. They serve large portions, very tasty coffee and juicy salsa with chips. Right in downtown Stockton. That play fancy Mexican music. The service excellent fast and super friendly. You can find free parking across the bridge (under Crosstown freeway on the other side form the restaurant) and walk there for 5 minutes. Be prepared to see many homeless people around.

This restaurant has been run by the same family for 54 years! Can honestly say that I have not eaten here many years,and am so glad to have found it again! Everything is freshly made- tortillas, chips, green chile, and the most fabulous Chile Rellenos in the world. While some people might be wary of the location, you just have to do this! The staff is courteous and friendly, and the food so very worth it!!!
