Races at the Stockton 99 Speedway
Whether you live your life "a quarter mile at a time" or just intrigued by racing, the Races at the Stockton 99 Speedway is a great, local spot for both! Usually held on Saturdays, they're having a special event Friday, July 3 with gates opening at 5 pm and the event kicking off at 7 pm. Plus, there's FREE parking and kids 10 and under get in FREE.
Stockton Ports "Unity in the Community Fest"
Just becuse the Ports are not home to play a game during the holiday weekend, doesn't mean you can't enjoy some time at the ballpark in celebration of our nation's birthday. On Friday, July 3, the Stockton Ports are hosing Unity in the Community Fest at the Stockton Ballpark. Enjoy food, entertainment, vendors, fireworks and fun!
Annual Barron Hilton Fireworks Display at Mandeville Island
Got a boat or have a friend who has a boat? Make plans to head out to Mandeville Island ahead of the Friday, July 3 annual Barron Hilton Fireworks Display! Dating back to the '60s with its creation by Barron Hilton, this 20-minute show has garnered a large community gathering decades later. Be sure to sail out well in advance (some people stay overnight a day or more in advance) and secure a viewing spot by 7:30 pm so you can get a prime view of this annual spectacular!
4th of July Parade and Festival in Downtown Stockton
The annual Independence Day tradition in Stockton continues! This fantastic 4th of July Parade & Festival brings a joyful celebration to everyone looking to celebrate. Everything kicks off with the parade at 10 am near DiCarli Plaza. Grandstands will be at Weber and El Dorado Streets as well as at the Stockton Memorial Civic Auditorium. The parade snakes its way though downtown starting at DeCarli Plaza and eventually ends up on Center Street to Weber Avenue. It's then followed by the festival at 5 pm at Weber Point Events Center and fireworks at 9:30 pm. This year there will be special performances by Latin Magic Band and our very own Stockton Symphony.
Live Music at Windmill Cove
What better way to celebrate your independence than by partying to live music on the Delta? Windmill Cove continues their Live Music Series on the 4th of July! Saturday at 2 pm, you'll be able to enjoy the sounds of Amped Up (80's party band) and dance while enjoying the holiday by water. Come out and live it up!
