Located in Stockton's historic Miracle Mile shopping district, you'll enjoy Thai tapas and wonderful drinks at Thai Me Up! An authentic taste of Thailand is closer than you think! Pick your protein on Pad Thai from shrimp, beef, chicken, and even fried pork belly! If you're a meat lover start your meal out with basil wings. But for our veggie friends, make sure to try the papaya salad, packed full of flavor and super healthy. How much spice can you handle on your Pad Thai? Yum!
The food here is really good. It's fantastic. This is coming from a person that doesn't like to eat Thai food. I'm from Sacramento and can see myself driving this far for the food. The staffs are great too. It's a cute little place.
Spring rolls and peanut sauce were fab... Green curry w/ tofu was a little thin for my taste but flavors were on point... wife's says the drunken noodles with beef were delish, apparently one of the local favorites. Great ambiance, good service!
Our dining group chose this restaurant this week and it was really good. Everyone was happy with they're choices. Well prepared and seasoned just right. From the appetizers and cocktails to our entrees. The wait staff were doing a great job as well. Note, it does get a bit loud inside, and parking can be interesting. Still well worth a visit
Quick friendly attentive service, good environment. Food was good came quickly and fresh. Loved the chicken friend rice lol. Drinks were good and strong worth buying. Cute little place.
This place is simply divine! I'm from out of town, and I will be dreaming of this place until I come back. The best Thai food I've ever eaten. The drunken noodles are a must. The sweetness comes through with the savory. It might be a little too salty if you're watching your salt intake. So if you come, forget diet restrictions. The flavors are bold and very impactful here. I had the extra spicy chicken yellow curry. It's very spicy. I recommend just spicy for those who cannot tolerate heat. There's spicy, extra spicy, and hell. You're gonna be reaching for that water often. The pork belly is good. Nice and crispy and still tender. Eat it as soon as it comes to your table. The tomato dipping sauce adds a nice and fresh contrast to your palate. The service was excellent! The staff is very friendly and attentive. The place is small, so I bet the wait can get long when it's busy. Only con I have is that we got extra sticky rice for the side, and it was a little hard. However, the sticky rice with mango was perfect. The mango was nice and ripe, and the sticky rice was nice and soft and delectable.
I've been here twice. First time was great. We sat outside and the service was punctual. The food was good. Well my second recent visit was okay. I was disappointed because I had such a great experience my first time. It was the service that I wasn't satisfied with. I felt like my party was pushed to the side and was ignored. I also noticed how small the Thai tea was the second time. The first time I ordered it, it came is a regular size glass cup. The print on the menu overall was pretty small. I had to take time to read the options to my mom which was fine to me but I'm sure my mom and other elderly people wouldn't appreciate it.
Haven't been here in a while and I'm happy I came in. We started with the pork & shrimp spring rolls. It was served with a spicy sweet & sour sauce and a peanut butter sauce that was more like a spread than a doing sauce. The rolls were served cut in half to expose the ingredients. These were a great start to the meal. Our entrees came a few minutes after we took our first bite of the spring rolls. My friend had the drunken noodles with beef and I had the spicy eggplant with pork. Both servings were generous portions. I enjoyed the eggplant dish as it had lots of veggies and had great flavor. I really need to remember this restaurant and come more often because this place had excellent service, yummy food, and reasonable prices. (Sorry, I didn't get photos of the entrees, just the spring rolls.)
But the food was good, just don’t get the tofu if you’re picky. The meat based options were great. The alcoholic drinks not so much. Overall, probably a good spot for a date, but not worth the price if you just need some good food.
I’ve been coming here for years and finally got to bring my bestie to try this spot out, which she really enjoyed. Lunch was great, I ordered my dish spicy…could have probably gone a level up with the heat but was delicious nonetheless. Asked for extra Thai basil. Cocktail was fun! Service was friendly and attentive.
Love their food! Highly recommend this place especially if you love the taste sensations of Thai food. The basil chicken wings are wonderfully spicy (the sauce is to die for) drunken noodle is wonderful as well. The steak salad is fabulous, lots of meat, papaya, yummy noodles and yummy dressing. Try it out, you won't be disappointed!
We passed by and found this gem. We are very picky when it comes to Thai food, but were so happy to find such authentic and delicious Thai food here. Papaya salad (som tum) was excellent, very similar to what you could find in Bangkok (the only minor difference is some roasted peanut). The tom yum soup was delicious and went really well with the yummy basil chicken wings + jasmine rice combo. We were told that the recipes were developed by the previous generations and passed onto the current owner(s). Great atmosphere with Thai art pieces. Excellent customer service by Gabby. We would rate 6 stars if we could. Highly recommended! Note that this place can be crowded during dinners or weekends.
Is this the best Thai food experience? No. But they do have their own unique entrees on the menu that you usually won't find at typical authentic Thai restaurants. This place sets up a great artistic atmosphere and dimly lit ambience, a great spot to bring your romantic partner or even family. Service was great. Food was above average.
Thai Me Up is a great place to eat in Stockton. My wife and ordered the Pineapple fried rice with chicken and you will love this dish. We ordered the Angel wings and they are stuffed very yummy. You can’t lose with the fried pork belly. The staff is great and I love the food. We will return for more great food here in the future.
Monday. After work. Wife and I are hungry. "Thai sounds good" Google it up. As simple as that desicion was to us it was simple to write this review. This is a Great small spot that feels great to be in Quality Food, quality service, I'll definitely return
Food was great. Service was good. Prices are a little high, but worth it for the quality of the food.
My first time at this restaurant. The choices were many. I was with a group and all ordered different entrees. Can't remember the name of mine but had pork, rice noodles and Chinese broccoli with an egg. I asked for mild spice. The serving was generous, nicely flavored, and just the right amount of heat. The service was very good and they will customize any entree. All thoroughly enjoyed their entrees. There are many vegan and gluten free items on the menu. I will definitely come back again. Prices are reasonable considering each entree is prepared with fresh items and made to order.
Pretty good Thai place! Food is a little pricey, but it's good for a date! The place is pretty small, but they can fit a group of about 13 people, which is what we had. I believe if you have a group of 6 or more, gratuity is automatically added into the bill, so you won't need to worry about tipping if you go with a large group of friends. I wouldn't go here too often, unless you happen to find some very well priced menu items. I recommend the yellow curry! Not bad at all. 7/10.
This place is great! Affordable prices, big portions and the staff members are always very welcoming.
Never had Thai food before. Placed an order and when I arrived inside she (Mayela?) double checked my order and asked me if I had any allergies. So grateful she did. My order was remade due to a shellfish allergy and a ingredient in their sauce base. I really appreciate she even cared to ask. It's hard to get food out these days with certain allergies. Some places intentionally mess with your order out if spite. It has made eating out kinda scary at times. The Drunken noodles were so good I came back three times the first week. Lost count how many times I have eaten since quarantine started. Good fresh food, made to order with care. Next to impossible to find in Stockton these days.
Had the eggplant/chicken/veggie bowl with rice on the side. Good-sized meal, nothing fancy but filling and wholesome. Service is excellent!
I got an iced Thai coffee and it was so delicious! The customer service was great! I will be going back.
Absolutely impressed. I'm picky about my yellow curry because I love a good bowl on a cold day and they definitely hit the spot. Staff was also very polite and friendly and answered my picky boyfriend's questions politely. Will be my go to for curry from now on.
Get over here the food is delicious. Open for take out. Support this long-standing business.
My 1st time ever trying Thai food and I loved it! The dining area was very clean and spacious. The 2 gentleman that took care of us did an excellent job!
Good food... sometimes too spicy even when didn't ask for it this way.. Love that they renovated the bar.
The food is amazing! We ordered to go, picking three types of curry, to try them out. They were, honestly, all amazing. The only reason I take off one star is because two gentlemen were sitting at the bar, arguing about politics fairly loudly (drunk?) without masks. They should know better...
So good! I always get the waterfall beef larb and the tom yum noodle soup with ground pork.
Awesome food and service!! Great job Mike and all of the other servers 👍you made my son's birthday great!
My second time coming here and hasn't disappointed me yet I order the chicken fried rice pad Thai, papaya salad platter, and fried pork belly the sauce to the pork belly isn't all that great taste better without it IMO. Nice clean small establishment nice out door seating ambience is right for social gatherings but within your circle.
Ordered for delivery. Oh Thai fried rice and pad Thai 😋 came fast and hot .food is very good for Thai food. I didn't get pineapple that I asked for on the side but it wasn't missed yum yum it was all good
The food here is wonderful. My wife is Thai and she absolutely loved everything we ordered. We love the location as well because its located on the in the trendy area of the miracle mile. We will come back for sure!
This was my first experience walking into the restaurant, because we're still coming out of the pandemic I had asked if they did dine in or take out only, to my pleasant surprise they were doing dine-in. The waiter was friendly and helpful, the selection varied enough, and my end product meal was excellent.
Great place to eat. We had nice seating outside. Service was professional, and friendly. It was my 1st time here. My friend recommended this place because she uses to have dinner dates with her hubby here. But, since COVID, hasn't returned...until recently.
This place was nice and had a good vibe to it, nice and clean, following the Covid rules. They also let me charge my phone. The staff were super polite and they let my dog and I hang out on the patio. Be sure to CLARIFY if you like spicy. I said I would love my meal spicy and it came out kind of not. The food was super good if not as much of a kick as I like, having a Leo was great, the mango sticky rice was delicious but I realized after the first couple of bites of my main supposed to be spicy course that this was 'American' spicy, not 'Thai' spicy.
Service was excellent, drinks were great. The food was large portions and excellent. We had a party of five and everyone was thrilled with the meal, drinks and service. Took home what we didn't finish and had it for dinner later. Excellent value and we will he going back soon.
First time there, it was beautifully clean and the ambiance is relaxing , dining on one side , bar on the other. Staff was super friendly. The food was good a little pricey but definitely doing date night with hubby or the girls.
I ordered take out. Special requests and they adjusted order. Very busy but polite. The food worth my wait 🙋🏾♀️🤓. Keep coming back Spicy Vegan and 🍆 variety. Not to mention the Curry choices. Ohh my goodness.
Food was really good. Service could definitely use some work. It was a busy holiday so we will definitely give them another chance.
The food was delicious and the plating was so fun. You definitely have to order the pork belly when you have their tapas. My husband and I decided that is is our new date place. Their spicy Margaritas full of flavor and spice. We did not have dessert, but plan on ordering it on our next visit. A big thanks to our server, Reggie, for the great recommendations.
