The Kitchen at Stonebrier is serving up delicious Hoffbrau-style lunches and dinners featuring dishes such as soups, pasta, salads, excellent sliced meats, and more.
The staff was friendly and made us feel welcomed and comfortable as soon as we arrived. Wife ordered the Short Ribs and wow you gotta try the Short Ribs... wonderful. I ordered the Fish... my I loved the fish. We will come back here for sure.
Seriously amazing!! Not to many restaurants pay attention to the details but The Kitchen @ Stonebrier is truly an exception! Who makes homemade fries? They do! Who makes their own croutons? They do! Who makes soup from scratch? They do! Who has fresh cut roses in the bathroom? Well they do of course! This is rare find in Stockton but worth your time. Don't forget to order the cheesecake. As my southern husband says its "Slap your momma good"!
You haven't had a real sandwich until you eat here. I am so cautious about eating tuna salad anywhere. Their tuna has chopped onions and celery and it's perfectly seasoned. So good! Their tomato soup tasted so fresh and yummy. Perfect for dipping your sandwich. The ambiance and furniture are so amazing. They have a patio with a fire pit and water features. If you're in the waiting area, they even have heated fans on the ceiling. Best soup, salad and sandwich spot in town.
We had their brunch today and it was so amazing. Great service and really good food. Our compliments to the chef and waiter. It must be the best kept secret in Stockton as it was not crowded at all. It’s a classy place with fresh food and definitely our newest favorite place to eat in the area.
This spot is tucked away a bit but has so much to offer! I love their outdoor seating area with the fire pit and water installation. In the colder months it creates the perfect combination of cozy and relaxing. There is also plenty of seating in their indoor area and this spot would be great for breakfast, lunch/lunch meetings or a nice date spot. The food that I've had has all been delicious and the staff is very attentive and friendly.
The food was delicious. Bread brought to the table - balsamic vinegar and EVOO and an olive tapenade to dip/spread. We started with the Chef's Special Salad. We were all happy with our dining choices - lamb chops, prime rib, and sea bass. To finish, warm bread pudding topped with vanilla bean ice cream and a warm caramel drizzle. Live music too!
Food was excellent. I had the rib eye, meduum-rare. It was cooked to perfection, one of the best I've ever had. Others at my table also enjoyed their dinners and appetizers. Service was good, not exceptional. Ambiance is nothing special at all. Overall, it was very expensive with excellent food. Good service but lousy location. Hoping it will survive being off the main path. Too bad it's not in a main-stream shopping center.
