Overview
Better known as "The Waterloo," this family-run operation has been serving the same great food to overflowing crowds for over 23 years, and it just keeps getting better and better all the time. All items are prepared fresh and are of the highest quality. Most of the recipes originated right here, including Bette's World Famous BBQ sauce and Pesto. Please sit back and enjoy the whole "Waterloo Experience".
It's normally a little crowded but if you can't wait, their whole menu can be prepared to go. Come hungry because they have overwhelming portions. At this fun restaurant, they really know how to mix it up on the grill. One of their signature dishes is the savory barbecued ribs, served as an appetizer or an entree. The pesto pasta is so good you will drive clear across town to get it.

My wife and me, finally had a chance to have lunch at the The Waterloo Restaurant. What a great Atomsphere. The people working were super friendly and always attending us kindly . the food was very good. Great job Waterloo restaurant.
The RIBS entree is the best! Comes with a rack of fall off the bone pork ribs, choice of pasta, (I chose pesto) & soup or salad (I chose minestrone soup) All the entrees are big portions, eat some now, take the rest home for later! Full bar, great atmosphere, ballgame on the TV!
Steak was good! The butter for the bread was not soft so we could not spread it well. The pesto noodles were good but the noodles were overcooked. The salad needs to go up a notch. Blue cheese dressing would be a nice addition. My margarita was weak and small. Everyone was friendly.
A friend and I waited for two hours to get a table at the Waterloo restaurant. As soon as we entered, we had a good first impression: the salad and breads were perfect. However, the main dish, a ribeye, came excessively overdone, with darkened meat and a bitter taste. I ended up eating only half, removing the most burned parts, because I was very hungry. On the other hand, the pasta with pesto was impeccable, and the shrimps, simply delicious.
This was my first time at the Waterloo restaurant. All the food was freshly made they used fresh ingredients they have a garden in the back where they get their fresh herbs from. It was a nice atmosphere the environment was quiet enough to talk. But loud enough to wear no one would listen to your conversation. The chowder was so delicious that Geneva bread and that Betty sauce is amazing pairs well together! If you like fresh ingredients this is a place to try.
