I visited for the first time on 4/20, and while the location itself is undeniably beautiful—with stunning views and an outdoor atmosphere that feels straight out of a movie—my experience was unfortunately marred by poor customer service at the bar. Some areas of the venue could benefit from a few updates, but overall, it's a great spot to relax and enjoy good weather. However, my rating is primarily due to an extremely unpleasant interaction with one of the bartenders. The bartender in question had jet black hair, blue eyes, and was approximately 5'5". There were no name tags, so I can only describe her by appearance. Her customer service was not just lacking—it was completely absent. When I asked for a menu recommendation, her dismissive response was simply, "Everything is good on the menu," without making any genuine effort to guide or assist. When I became quiet in response to her unhelpfulness, she oddly began talking about her personal dietary restrictions, which felt unprofessional and unnecessary. What stood out even more was her demeanor—not only toward customers but also with her coworker. It was clear she was not a team player, and her energy brought down what could have been a great experience. On a positive note, the second bartender—who had long brown hair—was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, attentive, and ended up taking our drink order, saving the experience from being a total disappointment. I would consider returning for the location alone, but the establishment should seriously reconsider who they put behind the bar. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this one fell short.
We love Windmill Bar and Cove! It’s our go-to lunch spot when we’re out on the Delta. The food never misses—I pretty much rotate between the fish tacos and the club sandwich. Both are solid choices. But the real MVP here? The bartender. We usually see her on Sundays (dark black hair—you’ll know her when you see her). She’s the superwoman behind the bar, effortlessly juggling drink orders, food tickets, and a sea of customers like it’s just another casual Sunday. Watching her in action is like watching a well-choreographed performance… with cocktails. She also was the only bar tender there yesterday, April 13th (give her a high five for me). Also, shoutout to the drink she made me last time in my photo here. 10/10. Yummy and pretty. Windmill is the kind of place that makes you want to become a regular, if you aren’t one already.
This is a must stop on the delta! (Dirty D) Great concerts all summer long. Drinks flowing on the patio with an amazing view! Dust off that boat and pull up! ...or you can drive lol
The restaurant, bar and concert arena are awesome. The camping area leaves a lot to be desired but its clean and its nice that they have water and power hook ups
