Yay, Sports!
If its fútbol you're looking for, then make your way to St. Mary's High School, the home for the Stockton Cargo SC! Their home opener is happening Saturday, May 16, with another home game this month happening Saturday, May 30. Be there to cheer on our talented squad.

Cinco De Mayo Festival & Parade
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Stockton with the Cinco de Mayo Festival & Parade! Head down to the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds May 1 - 3 and experience a multicultural event like no other. Enjoy food, drinks, games, live music, dancing, artisan crafts & goods, fun for the kids, contests, live entertainment, health screenings, car show, and so much more!
Festival hours are 12 - 10pm Friday & Saturday and 12 - 11pm Sunday. The parade takes place Sunday at 10am at Weber Point Events Center.

Opening Day at Pixie Woods
NOTE: As of May 1, 2026, the train and boat at Pixie Woods are currently unavailable. They will be undergoing needed service. Return to operation TBA at a later date.
Grab the family and head out to Stockton's very own legendary amusement park! Pixie Woods' Opening Day is happening Saturday, May 2 from 10am - 4pm. From the vintage merry-go-round to the Pixie Express, this magical land transports kids and adults alike to a world right out of your imagination. Venture through the rainbow gates of the park and take part in making some memories.
Also at Pixie Woods, celebrate culture and community with Children & Youth Day, happening Saturday, May 16 from 10am - 3pm. With the theme being "All Around the World," attendees are asked to come dressed in their cultural attire and to be a part of the FRC parade.
The Sleeping Beauty at Bob Hope Fox Theatre
Another ballet classic graces the stage at the Bob Hope Fox Theatre with a performance of The Sleeping Beauty. Happening Sunday night, May 3 from 3 - 6 pm, the unforgettable performance features the legendary choreography of Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, as well as Tchaikovsky’s iconic score. With an electric cast of dancers from Ukraine, Moldova, Italy, Japan, the United States, and more, you will not want to miss this.

Dave Brubeck / May The 4th Be With You Concert
With both Dave Brubeck Day and May the 4th Be With You Day sharing the same day, why not enjoy their music together?! Zion Lutheran Church will be doing just that Monday, May 4 at 5:04pm with their 5/4 Dave Brubeck/May The 4th Be With You Concert. A composition by local composer Max Simoncic will be conducted and performed by Paul Kimball, maestro of the Zion Chamber festival on French horn, as well as Zion's Music Director Rhondda Nunes on piano.

May The 4th Be With You AND Cinco de Mayo Parties at Octavio's
Octavio's is having TWO, back-to-back parties that you need to be a part of. First up is their May The 4th Be With You Party on Monday, May 4 from 4:30 – 8:30pm. They will have a specialty menu featuring Jedi Taco Flights, Darth Vadar Quesabirria, Holy Guacamole, Galaxy Margaritas, and so much more. Then, the next night, they will hold their Cinco de Mayo Patio Party from 5:30 – 8:30pm. With live music courtesy of the band Rock N Roleando, as well as a photo booth and tasty food & drink specials, you are going to want to be here.
Live Music at the Haggin: Jonathan Seiberlich
Johnathan Seiberlich, a prominent member of the San Francisco Bay Area’s vibrant music scene, will be bringing his amazing musical talents to Stockton on Thursday, May 7 at 7pm at the Haggin Museum. Seiberlich's artistic résumé includes performing with such musical acts as the San Francisco Symphony, the Nomad Session Wind Octet, Jazz Mafia collective, Grateful Brass, and the Kyle Athayde Dance Party. You do not want to miss this night of music at the Haggin.

The Vietnam Moving Wall at Weber Point Events Center
“I wanted to create a memorial that everyone would be able to respond to, regardless of whether one thought our country should or should not have participated in the war.”– Maya Lin, designer of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
The replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. returns to Stockton May 14 - 18 at Weber Point Events Center. The Vietnam Moving Wall pays tribute to the over 58,000 soldiers who gave their lives in the war. Each day, there will be a reading of all the names along with a special ceremony on Saturday, May 16. This event is free and will be open 24 hours starting at noon on May 14.
Homebrew Beer Festival at The Catalyst
Who's up for some tasty brews? The Golden State Brew Club returns to The Catalyst Arts & Wellness Studio on Saturday, May 16 from 2 - 5pm, for the Homebrew Beer Festival! There will be UNLIMITED tastings of a wide variety of beers brewed by club members as well as live music by Hop Riot, free snacks, and food on site for you to purchase and enjoy with your drinks.
24 Hours - AM at Stockton Civic Theatre
Gracing the Pam Kitto Black Box at the Stockton Civic Theatre, 24 Hours - AM presents twelve short plays that cover the hours of one A.M. to twelve noon. With twelve different directors helming each story, these plays range from comedy to tragedy, taking you on an emotional ride that only our best thespians and storytellers can provide. This show runs from May 21 - 31, so be sure to secure your tickets now.

Stockton Cruise Night at Waterloo's Gun & Bocce Club
Enjoy a laid-back evening featuring classic cars, custom builds, lowriders, and modern classics when the Stockton Cruise Night comes to Waterloo's Gun & Bocce Club on Friday night, May 22, from 6 - 9pm. There will be local vendors, artists, and small businesses on site as well as delicious food and cocktails from Heritage Dining & Provisions. This event will be happening every fourth Friday through October, so make your plans this month and the rest of the summer.
Night of Comedy at Stockton Memorial Civic Auditorium
Enjoy a night of hilarious stand up comedy at the Stockton Memorial Civic Auditorium with Night of Comedy, happening Saturday night, May 23. This show brings a blend of African and American comedy styles, featuring internationally acclaimed Nigerian comedy sensation and headliner Real Warri Pikin, along with Wamilele, The Don, Soco, Wellington Ojukwu, and musical guest Jay The King. With DJ Pilot CPO providing live beats and Stockton’s own Daddy L as the host, this is bound to be a fun night!
