Overview
Calivirgin is the definition of a family-owned and operated olive ranch. From growing a variety of olives, harvesting them, processing, bottling, marketing, sales and shipping. Each member of their family takes on one or more of these tasks, each and every step ensures consumers receive the highest quality tasting oils. Calivirgin mills their harvested olives every year in the fall and they are one of the few olive oil companies that produces flavored oils, using actual crushed produce to create the most robust flavor.
Calivines Winery & Lodi Olive Mill, located at Calivirgin's tasting room just north of Stockton in Lodi, is a fantastic addition to the beautiful attraction. Ever since I first tried Calivirgin's olive oil in Calistoga, I've wanted to get to the source where it was harvested and bottled in Lodi. Last weekend on a trip to Sacramento, I finally had a chance to stop by their Olive Mill and Winery. There is a nice sparking clean outdoor patio with picnic tables within a few steps from the olive oil grove but it was a bit hot that day so we opted to sit inside. In addition to the olive oil tasting set, there were some brunch items such as a crostini and salad as well as a Mediterranean plate with hummus. We opted for the crostini, olive oil tasting and a cappuccino. The jalapeño olive oil was unique and flavorful enough that we bought a couple bottles of it to take home. The pear vinaigrette was thick and tangy. The waitresses were friendly and helpful when we had a couple questions about the dishes. The shelves in the shop area is full of flavored olive oils and vinaigrette as well as ceramic and a whole slew of items for serving charcuterie. If you are a fan of olive oil and are planning on a trip up to Sacramento or Lake Tahoe, would definitely recommend stopping by to check out Calivirgin.

Went to a pick up party for members that included lunch and wine tasting. Very nice. They also have ongoing food and wine service (reservations recommended) and special events including live music and seasonal craft/art activities.
They have the best olive oil! Tons of different flavors like garlic, basil, lemon, etc. And their balsamic vinegar is amazing as well, also with different flavors. They have a great gift shop, and they have their own wine as well. Beautiful tasting room, with a nice atmosphere! I've been a member of their oil club since its inception and it's the only oil I use! Worth the stop in Lodi!
Best organic Olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Just did the wine tasting in their new wine tasting room and you're missing out if you don't try it I think I bought all of them. Just stopped in to pick up my order and had a wonderful bottle of wine while I waited can't say enough good. Just came by again today and picked up our order we could not be more pleased and happy it is a great package this time like always
