June normally means the start of outdoor concerts and food fairs, but we know this year is a little different. What remains the same, is our ability to celebrate those important men in our lives on Father’s Day! While Mom gets all the attention in May, it’s time to shine a spotlight on Dad. This year, Father’s Day will be celebrated on Sunday, June 21. There’s nothing wrong with going the traditional route of tossing a few hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill at home, but give this list a look over for a few ideas to mark the special occasion in other ways in Stockton.
Golfing and Father’s Day run hand-in-hand in many ways. If your dad’s idea of relaxation is a round of golf, help him tee off at a local golf course. Never golfed before? This is a great time to start! A match on the green at one of the area’s notable golf courses with some practice swings on the range will make for a perfect Father’s Day outing - and see if Dad’s still got a hang on that golf swing. Don’t forget to grab a bite to eat at an on-site restaurant to keep Dad fueled.
One of the most popular things to do on Father’s Day is to go out or pick up some delicious Father’s Day grub. Plan a sensational meal that suits his palate. From bottomless mimosas (and maybe beer) to brunch and dinner menus, find a unique dining destination to celebrate Dad.
Here are a few special deals and events our homegrown local restaurants have planed for dad's special day:
Romano's Macaroni Grill is also offering 25% off e-gift cards ( use code: DAD20) and Bounce Back $20 Off Cards on future visits to those who dine-in on Father's Day.
