Best Places to Celebrate Dad in Stockton, California
Here are a few things that you can do in Stockton, California for your daddy dearest!
While Mom gets all the attention in May (rightfully so), it’s time to shine a spotlight on dad. This year, Father’s Day will be celebrated on Sunday, June 21. There’s nothing wrong with going the traditional route of tossing a few hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill at home, but give this list a look over for a few ideas to mark the special occasion in other ways in Stockton.
Father Fest 2026
A celebration of fathers and their children is going down at Victory Park (in front of the Haggin Museum) on Saturday, June 13. Stockton Waterfront 3rd Annual Smooth Jazz Fest
Take dad out to Weber Point Events Center and enjoy the sweet sounds of jazz as the Stockton Waterfront 3rd Annual Smooth Jazz Fest takes place June 20 & 21. Sit back and relax by the delta as you experience live performances from Jon B, Jeffrey Osborne, Boney James, Jeanette Harris, and many more.

Tee Time with Dad
Golfing and Father’s Day run hand-in-hand in many ways. If your dad’s idea of relaxation is a round of golf, help him tee off at a local golf course. Never golfed before? This is a great time to start! A match on the green at one of the area’s notable golf courses with some practice swings on the range will make for a perfect Father’s Day outing, and see if Dad’s still got a hang on that golf swing. Don’t forget to grab a bite to eat at an on-site restaurant to keep dad fueled.

Located over at Lincoln Center, ax throwing with a cold one could just be the chill release that dad is looking for. Dressing like a Viking isn't required... but we're not against it.
Go to the Movies
