What better way to kick off a new year than an annual foodie tradition? The 13th annual Stockton Restaurant Week runs from January 14 - 23, and it's always an exciting time filled with delicious food, great entertainment, and all-around fun atmosphere.

Two of the Haggin Museum's newest temporary exhibits will be making their departure on Sunday, January 9: Frida Kahlo's Garden and Our Colorful Past: Selections from the Bank of Stockton Historical Archive. Catch this interesting history and iconic artistry before it leaves Stockton.

Stockton is housing two big music events in January. First up, YG is returning to Northern California along with Mozzy and Haiti Babii for the Bounce Back tour on Saturday, January 8 at Stockton Arena. Then the following weekend, Hacienda Plaza will be housing Punkstravaganza on Saturday, January 15. The bands Irreverent Souls, Brumby Road, Mudville Massacre, and more will be in the house for your punk fix!
Additionally, StocktonCon Winter is going down at the Stockton Arena on Sunday, January 16. Get your comic book and pop culture fix by indulging in collectables and memorabilia featuring superheroes, cult classics, and more. And please remember that cosplaying is ALWAYS welcome!
St. Joseph's Medical Center will be having their annual Fun Run/Walk for Wellness event on Saturday, January 29 at University Park Campus. This 5k can be done on location of virtually, with all proceeds going to benefit the St. Joseph's Cancer Institute. Entry fee includes a t-shirt, swag bag, free photo downloads, post-race food, and more. Take part in a fun community event for a good cause.
