Stockton Black Family Day
With its genesis dating back to the struggles led by the San Joaquin Delta College Black Student Union in 1969, Stockton Black Family Day promotes the community principles of faith, education, health, respect, and unity. Happening at the Weber Point Events Center on Labor Day, September 1, from 11 am to 7 pm, this annual event will feature live music, dance, and more. Additionally, a wide variety of delicious food will be available to savor and enjoy. Bring the whole family for this fun time!
This event is the finale of a full weekend of celebrating Black families, with the "Get Movin' Parcourse" at Fremont Square Park (8/30) and "Healing In Color" at the Stockton Civic Auditorium (8/31). See the flyer below for more details.

Stockton Civic Theatre presents "The Wedding Singer"
The story made famous by the Adam Sandler / Drew Barrymore film adaptation comes to the Stockton Civic Theatre stage this month! Caterpillar: Celebrating 100 Years at Haggin Museum
With Caterpillar Inc. celebrating its 100 years in operation, this exhibit at the Haggin will give attendees a chance to experience the extraordinary contributions of Stockton's own Benjamin Holt and the Holt Manufacturing Company. This exhibit will be on display from September 4 to November 2.

Seafood & Soul Festival at the San Joaquin Festival Grounds
Happening September 6 and 7 at the San Joaquin Fairgrounds, this annual festival brings a wide variety of fresh seafood and soul food delicacies to our city. 4th Annual Taco The Town 5k & 10k
Wanna run a 5k or 10k to raise funds for the nonprofit The Midsole Project? How 'bout one that has free tacos and beer at the finish line? On Saturday, September 6, you'll have the opportunity from 7:30 am to noon at the Factory Institute of Fitness at 654 Grider Way.
