Yay, Sports!
The OTB DPGT Champions Cup wraps up its championship tournament May 1 - 4 at Swenson Park Golf Course. This Disc Golf Pro Tour brings out the professionals to compete for the top title.
If its fútbol you're looking for, then make your way to Knowles Field at University of the Pacific—the home for the Stockton Cargo SC! Their home opener is happening Sunday, May 3 at 7:00 pm. Be there to cheer on our talented squad.
G1 Promotions presents an exciting night of boxing with Back to the Future on Saturday, May 17 at the Stockton Memorial Civic Auditorium.

A Day of Fashion & Design
San Joaquin Delta College is having their Day of Fashion & Design on Thursday, May 1 from 10 am - 8 pm. It will feature two events focusing on the two artistic realms. First is "Design on Display" in Danner Hall from 10 am - 5 pm. This exhibition, hosted by the Fashion and Interior Design Programs, will allow visitors to explore a variety of student work, including fashion design, fashion illustration, textile arts, marketing concepts, visual merchandising, cultural costume, and both residential and commercial interior design. Then, starting at 7pm, is "A Story of Fashion." This segment of the evening is a Designer Collections Runway Show, taking place outdoors in the quad. Fashion lovers alike are bound to love this full of day of fashion!

Live Music at the Haggin: Goh Kurosawa
Kick off the first live musical performance of the month at the Haggin Museum with the astounding sounds of Goh Kurosawa on Thursday, May 1 at 7 pm. Known as the "Bicultural Musical Samurai," Kurosawa provides fresh original songs, electrifying soundscapes, and stunning arrangements of familiar global melodies. Enjoy the stunning sounds that tell honest stories and life connections though music while surrounded by the Haggin's beautiful art.

Mexican Fiesta at Bella Vista Rooftop
The Cinco de Mayo vibes start early with the Mexican Fiesta at Bella Vista Rooftop on Thursday, May 1 from 5 - 10 pm. Celebrate the culture within our community with delicious street tacos, mangonadas, and margaritas. Plus, with live musical and dancing acts, you're set to have a festive evening with a beautiful view of downtown Stockton.

Cinco De Mayo Festival & Parade
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Stockton with the Cinco de Mayo Festival & Parade! Head down to the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds May 2 & 4 and experience a multicultural event like no other. Enjoy food, drinks, games, live music, dancing, artisan crafts & goods, fun for the kids, contests, live entertainment, health screenings, car show, and so much more!
Festival hours are 10 am - 8 pm Friday & Saturday and 10 am - 6 pm Sunday.

5th Annual High Five for Teacher 5K
Bring your family down to Michael Faklis Park for the 5th Annual High Five Teachers 5K in celebration of the amazing teachers in our area. Take a run, walk, or stroll in the morning, then hang around for food, music, and giveaways. It's all going down Saturday, May 3 from 8 am - 1 pm. Plus, kids 14 and under get in free! Support our local teachers by taking part in this fun family event.

Dave Brubeck / May The 4th Be With You Concert
With both Dave Brubeck Day and May the 4th Be With You Day sharing the same day, why not enjoy their music together?! Zion Lutheran Church will be doing just that Sunday, May 4 at 5:04pm with their 5/4 Dave Brubeck/May The 4th Be With You Concert. Special guest performers will include Kristin Florek (Lincoln High Jazz band) and local musicians Aidan Hogan, Erick Sariles, and more. Plus, local composer Max Simoncic and Zion's musical director will have some special pieces for those in attendance.

Swan Lake
Another ballet classic graces the stage at the Bob Hope Fox Theatre with a performance of Swan Lake. Happening Sunday night, May 4 from 7 - 9 pm, this special event is presented by Classical Arts Entertainment and performed by The State Ballet Theatre of Ukraine. Plan out your evening with a stop at a local food spot, then head to the theatre for this stunning masterpiece.

Lil' Wayne Live in Concert
Regarded by many as one of the greats in hip hop, Lil' Wayne brings his tour through Stockton Friday, May 9 at Adventist Health Arena! Joining Lil' Wayne on this electrifying tour is the legendary Lil' Kim, Jeremiah, and Selfish Sons. Don't miss out on this great night of hip hop in downtown Stockton!

Airport Open House
The Stockton Metropolitan Airport is having their Airport Open House Saturday, May 10 from 9 am - 3 pm. This free and open to the public event will provide guests the opportunity to get up close and personal with airplanes through stationary aircraft displays throughout. Attendees will also expereince the different activities that take place at the airport—from drones, to aircraft mechanics, to jet engine repairs, and so much more.

Stockton Symphony: Star Wars Galaxy Blowout
The force continues with you well after May the 4th with this Stockton Symphony spectacular. Their Star Wars Galaxy Blowout graces the Atherton Auditorium Saturday, May 10 from 6 - 8:30 pm. Experience a night filled with exciting performances of scores from the original trilogy, the prequels, the sequels, and The Mandalorian. Teamed with the music is a stunning visual and lighting experience that will take you to a galaxy far, far away.

35th Annual Children & Youth Day
Another year, another fantastic celebration at Pixie Woods for their Children & Youth Day, happening Saturday, May 17 from 10 am - 3 pm. This year’s theme is “Around the World" and attendees are encouraged to wear their cultural attire to celebrate the cultural richness of San Joaquin County families. This beautiful event is free to children and families and features live entertainment, hands-on activities, parenting information, and so much more.

San Joaquin County Fair
The San Joaquin County Fair returns to the San Joaquin Fairgrounds May 30 - June 1! This county tradition features fun for everyone with main stage entertainment, concerts, a carnival, agriculture, livestock, food, live entertainment, and exhibits. Fair gates open Friday at 4 pm and Saturday & Sunday at 12 pm. Gather up the fam and enjoy all the fun that this yearly local festival brings to the masses.
